Andrew and Vanecia barged in Melissa and my room to wake us up this morning, what a loving way to wake us up. I had a couple of extra crispy turkey bacons with my peanut butter and banana toasts for breakfast. It's so unusual for me to have turkey bacons, so it's such an occasion! After the yummy breakfast, we agreed on hitting up the water slides near Andrew's cabin before everyone head back to the city.
When we got there, I decided not to push my luck more and sat out to rest my banged up ankle. I just roamed around to take a couple of pictures. They went on a couple of runs on the slides. Melissa went on it and she banged her foot on the side of the water slide. Her foot was bleeding and swelling up when she got out of the water. Luckily, Thunder Mountain have First Aid room, so they could check up on her foot. It was all blue and swollen. They told us that she needs to go to the hospital to get some x-rays done, so Andrew's parents took her to Pine Falls hospital, while everyone stayed behind to make lunch and clean the cabin. We found out that she tore her ligament and have to wear soft cast for two weeks. Thank goodness that it wasn't broken!
I headed back to Winnipeg just before dinner, and I did a lot of thinking on the way back home. I just felt like my life is going in the right direction, especially with Karli Brooke Photography business expanding. I'm just really looking forward to everything in life especially University this fall. I'm just so grateful for my family and friends. They mean the world to me, and they help me to get here. If it wasn't for them, I wouldn't be here at all.
